Great to meet you!
My goal as a therapist is to help you reduce anxiety, navigate life’s stressors, and improve your sense of self and overall well-being. I also support trauma healing; helping you make sense of your experiences and find emotional balance.
My lived experiences as a bionic athlete and queer woman, and previous work as a theater teacher, special education paraprofessional, and performing artist led me to see the disparity of accessible therapy spaces and recognize the importance of mental health care. These personal and professional experiences eventually led me to pursue my Masters in Social Work at NYU in 2018.
Since then, I have committed my clinical skills to community health, supporting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals through life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and systemic challenges. I am passionate about ensuring equitable care through anti-oppressive practices and challenging systemic harm through my care as a clinician and throughout my personal life. I specialize in supporting folks with anxiety, navigating day-to-day or major life changes, and trauma.
