Great to meet you!
Professionally speaking, I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience across clinical and research settings, supporting individuals, families, and caregivers facing emotional, medical, and physical challenges. Prior to this adventure, my career primarily focused on working with people with disabilities in outdoor settings and as an advocate. Personally, my approach to life and therapy was primarily shaped by my mother who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis before I was born. I sometimes refer to myself a recovering outdoor endurance athlete; as someone who is still experimenting with what balance means to me. The roles I find myself in ebb and flow but the ones that remain consist are: a partner, a parent, a grandmother, a pet enthusiast, a practitioner of mindfulness and meditation, and a lover of the outdoors.
