Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood, but also challenged enough to grow. My work focuses on helping adolescents and adults recognize the patterns behind how they think, feel, and show up in their relationships and, more importantly, learn how to respond differently.

With over five years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve worked with adolescents and adults across residential behavioral health and private practice settings, allowing me to support individuals with a wide range of emotional and behavioral needs. I specialize in anxiety, relationship and attachment patterns, grief and loss, major life transitions, boundary-setting, self-esteem, and people-pleasing. I particularly enjoy working with high-functioning individuals who may appear to have everything together while privately struggling with overthinking, emotional exhaustion, or feeling responsible for everyone around them.

My style is warm, conversational, and direct. While understanding where patterns come from matters, I don't believe therapy should end with insight. We'll use that understanding to develop practical strategies, strengthen boundaries, improve relationships, and create changes that actually translate into your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and direct. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself in session, while also knowing that I’m not afraid to gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. There is space to process, reflect, laugh, and have difficult conversations when we need to.

I believe understanding why you think, feel, or respond a certain way is important, but insight alone doesn’t always create change. Together, we’ll connect the dots between your experiences and current patterns while also focusing on what you can begin doing differently in your everyday life.

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches, tailoring therapy to each client rather than expecting everyone to fit into the same framework. My goal is for you to leave sessions with greater self-awareness, practical strategies, and a clearer understanding of how to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you beyond the reason that brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been happening, what feels most important right now, and the patterns or experiences that may be contributing to where you feel stuck. You don’t have to come prepared with the “right” things to say or have everything figured out before we meet.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

Most importantly, the first session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for me. Finding the right therapist matters, and my goal is to create a space that feels comfortable, genuine, and judgment-free while giving you a clear sense of how we can move forward together.
