Liz Nelson

Hello! My name is Liz, and I'm not your average therapist. I am multi state licensed as a Mental Health Counselor. With a decade of experience in the field, I've developed a niche in the addiction recovery and Military/Veteran/LEO communities. I bring a little bit of humor and a lot of empathy to every session. If you're looking for a therapist who's all about rigid boundaries and textbook techniques, then I'm probably not your cup of tea. But, if you're looking for someone who's down-to-earth, easy to talk to, holds you accountable and is a little bit sarcastic, then you've come to the right place.

I use a variety of evidence-based therapies to help you work through anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD symptoms and other mental health struggles. When I'm not being a therapist, you can usually find me somewhere outdoors, in a tattoo parlor, binge watching a true crime series or getting coffee.

I believe that it's important to take care of yourself both inside and outside of therapy, and I'm here to help you do that. Together, we'll work through your challenges, tap into your strengths, and take the steps towards living a fulfilling, healthy and authentic life one session at a time.
