Great to meet you!

One of the things I most appreciate hearing from clients is that they feel comfortable being themselves with me. My heart is to understand your experiences and perspective with genuine compassion while providing excellent clinical care to help you take steps forward. I bring 11 years of clinical experience as well as advanced training in spiritual integration, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to my work with clients. I specialize in counseling young adult women who are navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, struggles with self-worth, significant life transitions, and working through painful or traumatic experiences. I’m particularly passionate about working with women who are seeking Christ-centered, professionally grounded counseling that meaningfully integrates their faith into the healing process.

My approach to therapy

Christian Counseling: My Christian faith shapes the way I understand people, healing, and hope. I believe God's grace transforms the way we understand who we are, how we experience healing, and how we grow into who we are becoming. For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate biblical truth and spiritual reflection with evidence-based counseling to explore how God's love can shape our identity, relationships, and the way we navigate life's challenges.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): I offer EMDR therapy to help you process painful or traumatic experiences that may still be influencing how you see yourself, relate to others, and navigate life today. Together, we can work toward a calmer, more regulated nervous system and a greater sense of peace and resolution, so that your past no longer has to define you or dictate how you live today.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): The way we think and the way we behave are deeply connected, and both have a powerful influence on our emotional well-being. I use CBT to help you recognize that not everything you think is true, to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and to develop new ways of thinking and behaving that support greater emotional health and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I want you to know that you’re welcome to come as you are—whether you have no idea where to start or feel like there’s way too much to say, whether you’re excited to begin therapy or feeling quite apprehensive. I understand the many emotions that can come with a first session, and my hope is that you’ll feel welcomed, understood, and supported as we ease into reviewing some important information about counseling and begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about your experiences, what life looks like for you right now, what has or hasn’t been helpful in past counseling, if applicable, and the changes you’re hoping for so we can begin shaping our work together around what matters most to you.
