Welcome! I'm Liz. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD).

If your outlook on your life is growing grim, struggling with self-confidence, trusting yourself or others in relationships, or enacting positive change in your circumstances, as a person-centered therapist, I serve as a guide towards a more fulfilling life. With a decade of professional experience treating those with with PTSD/trauma (including racial stress and acculturation), depression, anxiety, stress management, painful emotions, relationship difficulties, or making a healthy behavior change, I am an expert in the whole-person approach. I strive to understand what has influenced your beliefs/values, perspectives and life journey. I partner with you with a collaborative, personalized, and flexible approach.

My approach to therapy

I am integrative therapist who will choose and tailor evidence based therapies to best suit your unique needs and goals in therapy. In this delivery, you will receive the ideal treatment, optimized to your specific concerns, preferences, and set you up for success and forward moving progress. I always strive to provide you with a non-judgmental, open-minded, accepting perspective, and emphasize your strengths to empower you and support your healing. I am trained specifically to serve those struggling with life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, trauma-related disorders. In addition, I focus on BIPOC populations, particularly those affected by racial stress, and acculturation issues. I have been formally trained in including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Cognitive Processing Therapy (trauma therapy), Prolonged Exposure (trauma therapy).
