Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Liz, and I am a therapist who specializes in trauma, grief, adjustment, depression, relationship struggles, neurodivergence, adapting to chronic or terminal illness changes, men's issues, and women's issues. I value creating a space to allow you to process safely and openly. In the past, I have enjoyed working with all ages, but I currently only work with clients 15+. I look forward to connecting with you!

My approach to therapy

During treatment, I am client-led and will ultimately use an eclectic approach to help clients reach their individual therapy goals. I value accommodating a multitude of learning and processing styles, and welcome your feedback along the way to ensure ultimate growth for you and your goals. I view people from a lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and gravitate towards using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for skill-building. I am a trauma-informed therapist and enjoy using EMDR virtually with clients. These are a lot of therapy terms that I am happy to explain, so feel free to contact me for clarification!

What you can expect from me

For an initial consult, I will provide you with my background, ask what brings you in, and answer any questions you may have for me or about the therapy process. I would then schedule an intake session to get to know your background history. This helps to provide context to the work that we will do together. Overall, I am a warm and empathetic therapist that prioritizes building your trust and feelings of safety. One thing to note is that my Headway account is set to Pacific Time. Keep in mind that it does not always factor that in when you are scheduling for Mountain Time. I am sorry for the inconvenience of that, but am happy to hop on a call to clarify with you when scheduling!
