Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Liz Taibleson. I am an experienced, person-centered therapist specializing in attachment therapy, working with individuals ages 5-100. I am is passionate about fostering secure relationships and empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. I provide a compassionate space to explore emotions, heal past wounds, and build resilience.

I've always known that my path would lead me to a helping profession, supporting others has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. As a young adult, I studied Sociology and Education Studies at DePauw University. After graduating, I worked in Case Management, where I had the privilege of supporting children and their parents. While I found this work deeply rewarding, I wanted to make an even greater impact. Working closely with therapists, I saw firsthand the power of therapy and the positive change it can create. Inspired by this, I decided to further my journey by earning my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and here I am today, dedicated to guiding and supporting others on their own paths toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

As a Person-Centered therapist, I believe you are the expert in your own life. I’m here to walk alongside you, providing the support and tools you need to reach your mental health goals. Every individual has incredible potential within them, and my role is to help you uncover it in a way that feels safe, empowering, and judgment-free. I work with individuals across all life stages, from age 5 to 100, and specialize in supporting those who have experienced trauma. I also have a passion for working with parents, helping them navigate the ups and downs of parenting with effective strategies tailored to their unique family dynamics.

One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is constantly learning and growing. I’m passionate about deepening my understanding of Attachment Theory and Trauma, especially how the brain processes and responds to traumatic experiences. Exploring the neuroscience behind healing allows me to integrate new techniques that help clients navigate their journeys more effectively. Every new skill I learn enhances my ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based support, and I love bringing these insights into my work to foster deeper healing and resilience.
