Great to meet you!

Hola! I’m a Latina therapist who believes that therapy begins with feeling safe enough to be truly seen, heard, and understood. My hope is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can come as you are, without judgment, pressure, or the need to have it all figured out and under control. My professional background in community mental health has given me the opportunity to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult or traumatic experiences. These experiences have deepened my belief that healing is not linear, and that sometimes we need support simply to make sense of what we’re feeling and find our way forward.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work together to who you are, what you’re experiencing, and what you need. Together, we can explore your experiences, better understand your emotions, navigate challenges, and build meaningful tools for growth. Therapy may look different session to session. Sometimes therapy may mean processing difficult experiences, making sense of your emotions, or navigating relationships. Other times, it may simply mean having a safe place to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel exciting, overwhelming, or even a little uncomfortable and that’s completely okay. My goal is for your first session to feel like a safe place to take that first step.

During our first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know one another and learning what brought you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share what you’re currently experiencing, what you hope to work through, and what you would like to be different in your life. We may also talk about your personal history, relationships, culture, and experiences that feel important to your story.

Most importantly, you don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in. You’re welcome to take your time, ask questions, and share only what feels comfortable. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to create an approach that feels supportive and meaningful to you.
