My approach to therapy

I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to reconnect with themselves. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and rooted in the understanding that our thoughts, emotions, and bodies are deeply interconnected. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as EMDR, attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and mind-body integration, I help clients understand the protective patterns that have shaped them while fostering self-compassion, resilience, and lasting change. Rather than focusing on what is "wrong," I work alongside clients to uncover their innate capacity for healing, empowering them to live with greater authenticity, connection, and freedom.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. We'll spend time exploring what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll also ask about your personal history, relationships, strengths, and the experiences that have shaped you so I can better understand your unique story.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs. There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to discuss. Together, we'll begin identifying goals for therapy and develop a plan that feels supportive and aligned with where you are today. Most importantly, my hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with the reassurance that you don't have to navigate your healing journey alone.
