Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) with over 12 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful growth. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University.

I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I am especially passionate about helping clients build resilience, process difficult experiences, and create lasting, positive change in their lives.

For clients seeking trauma-focused care, I am Master Trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a research-backed approach that can help resolve distressing memories in a more efficient and effective way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, empathetic, and goal-oriented. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I use a client-centered foundation, meaning I tailor each session to your unique needs, experiences, and goals.

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). These approaches allow me to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and take meaningful steps toward change.

I also focus on empowering clients with practical tools and insights so they can build on their strengths and continue progressing outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where we begin getting to know each other. I will ask questions to better understand your concerns, background, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

We will work together to identify initial goals and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. You won’t be expected to share everything all at once—this is a process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for your therapy journey.
