Great to meet you!

A Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice for almost fifteen years, I work with many LGBTQ+ individuals. I welcome clients wanting to work with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, body image issues, gender dysphoria, sexual orientation and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

Originally trained as a Contemplative Psychotherapist, I bring a blend of Buddhist psychology and humanist psychology to sessions, seeing the seeds of sanity in any situation. I am also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and work with trauma with a body-based lens.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will attend to building relationship and understanding the context the client is bringing to the work. Clients can expect to feel listened to and reflected back to themselves, identify a few signs that would come from successful therapy, and have a plan for the next several sessions.
