Great to meet you!

I am a former newspaper journalist who decided to switch gears and bring my sense of curiosity, compassion and creativity to the realm of mental health. I pride myself on versatility and work with adolescents, adults and couples to address issues like communication, addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, grief, ADHD, self-esteem, existential crisis, OCD, eating disorders, and attachment wounds.

My approach to therapy

Just as no two people (or their stories) are alike, my therapeutic approach with each client will differ according to their individual hopes and goals for therapy. Drawing from a selective set of evidence-based therapies, clients can expect a fluid and dynamic treatment experience that carefully attends to the specific issues and challenges they face while honoring and affirming their unique sense of self.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together clients can expect a warm, friendly and supportive experience, wherein I will endeavor to understand the nature of their struggles; identify strengths, resources and values; and begin to collaboratively chart a course that moves them toward a richer, fuller, more meaningful life.
