Great to meet you!

With over six years in private practice, I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for individuals navigating life’s challenges. I have experience supporting clients through issues such as anger management, substance use, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, life transitions, grief, and men’s issues, as well as providing specialized treatment in sex offender rehabilitation. I have worked with government agencies such as the Local, State and Federal Probation, the Department of Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Detention Centers, and the Department of Social Services. I have worked with juveniles, adults and elders from a variety of multicultural and economic backgrounds. These experiences allow me to be prepared for any issues you may come to session with. In my practice I have found that everyone is capable of change and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy. I believe that the most meaningful progress begins with a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. We will work together at the beginning of treatment to identify realistic and achievable goals. My goal is to walk alongside you with empathy and respect as we work together to create meaningful change and build a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can be intimidating and making the first step to start is meaningful, whether it is an action you mulled over for several months or one you made after a sudden burst of motivation. I always meet my clients where they are and I encourage anyone that is curious about the process to reach out for a consultation.
