Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults in an outpatient mental health setting. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, emotion regulation, anger, and life transitions. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to each person's unique strengths, needs, and goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership built on trust, collaboration, and respect. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, including those who may feel reluctant to engage in therapy or have difficulty opening up at first. I understand that opening up can take time, so I focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship before encouraging clients to explore difficult emotions. I tailor treatment to each individual, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing to support each client's unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current concerns, and identify your goals at a pace that feels right for you. There is no expectation that you know exactly what to say or where to begin. Together, we'll develop a personalized plan to help you build on your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
