Great to meet you!

Hello,

I am a licensed psychotherapist in California specializing men's issues, substance use and addiction, with a focus on the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community, However All are Welcome. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a courageous act of self love and it requires a collaborative approach to establish a sense of trust and safety. I view each client as the expert on their life, I am here to partner guide and challenge them on their journey of self-discovery, helping them find what is already there but may be hidden from sight or blocked as a result of life's circumstances.

What you can expect from me

The first session is the first impression, its our chance to meet each other and see if its a fit. Since I use the first session as intake, I ask a lot of questions, more than I would in a typical session. The most important question I ask is "What brings you to therapy?" This is where clients have the space and freedom to tell their story. Without fear, shame, or judgement.
