Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Lonnie, and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board-Certified Master's Level Addiction Professional. I have worked with clients of all ages from various levels of outpatient treatment, detox, residential treatment, and inpatient treatment over the past 23 years. My specialties are your routine mood disorders (depression, anxiety, anger, & etc.), self-esteem issues, substance abuse, concentration matters, couples/marital problems, and family therapy matters.

My approach to therapy

I tend to take a very eclectic, creative, and out-of-bounds approach to the therapy experience. I feel that by no means should therapy be boring and/or non-engaging. I care about my clients, and they see my concern in our live interactions. I understand psychological disorders very well, and believe in taking a holistic approach to recovery. I mentor my clients by bridging research and experience.

What you can expect from me

After a therapy session with me, my clients should expect either one of two things: to walk away feeling empowered or more enlightened by the experience. I teach and inspire utilizing the growth mindset.
