Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. My background includes more than 25 years of military service, where I had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences. In addition, I have over a decade of experience helping teens and young adults navigate educational and career decisions while developing the life skills needed for personal and professional success.

To best meet the needs of those I serve, I offer both in-person and telehealth counseling services for individuals, couples, and groups.

For clients who desire it, I offer faith-integrated, Bible-based counseling. At the same time, I deeply respect each client's beliefs, values, and personal journey, and I am committed to providing a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and respected. My role is not to impose my views, but to help clients discover their own path toward healing, growth, and well-being.

I understand that life's struggles are real, but I also believe that healing is possible and that HOPE is real, too.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the way we think profoundly impacts how we feel, respond, and navigate life's challenges. My passion is helping adolescents and adults challenge unhelpful thought patterns, make confident decisions, develop healthy coping skills, and discover the unique strengths they already possess. Using an integrative approach tailored to each client's needs, I help individuals cultivate positive habits, develop greater self-awareness, build resilience, and foster personal growth so they can live more balanced and fulfilling lives.

What you can expect from me

From the first session, I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly share their experiences, concerns, and life challenges. Through compassionate listening and open dialogue, we work together to identify strengths, explore areas of growth, and establish meaningful goals tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

As counseling progresses, I support clients in developing the skills, insights, and strategies needed to achieve their goals and create lasting positive change.
