Great to meet you!

Making the decision to see a therapist can be difficult, so I commend you for that. If you are here, you have already taken the first step towards wellness. I have been providing therapeutic services to a diverse population on various issues. Some of the issues include, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and maternal mental health. I have been able to help my clients stabilize crises situations, learn coping skills, identify triggers, and help them increase knowledge about their diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is being inclusive of your present needs. Some of the approaches I use are mindfulness, supportive counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focus, and strength-based approaches and my work is trauma informed. My values of compassion, transparency, integrity, and accountability are embedded in my therapeutic approach.

What you can expect from me

A safe, validating, affirming, and welcoming space. A safe environment to be emotionally vulnerable, to heal, change, and explore interpersonal challenges that may impact you or symptoms. My counseling style is supportive and conversational. You will be supported, challenged, and understood during sessions.
