Great to meet you!

Lorelei has worked in a variety of counseling settings since her career began in 1994 including an inpatient mental health hospital, parochial and independent schools, a university counseling center, non-profit organizations, and private practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Counseling sessions can include a combination of therapeutic approaches and techniques including those from person-centered therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and solution-focused therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

Taking the step to start counseling can be difficult, but it can lead you to a healthier and happier life. My goal is to create a confidential, welcoming environment where clients will feel safe to open up about their emotions, thoughts, experiences, choices, and memories. As an ally for equality for all, my hope is that you will feel comfortable choosing me as your therapist regardless of your gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion.
