Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Loretta. I support children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds who are navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. I am especially passionate about working with children and adolescents because I believe early support can help create lifelong emotional wellness and resilience. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, grief, and ADHD. As a wife and mother of four, including a child with special needs, I bring both clinical experience and real life understanding to the care I provide.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I combine medication management with evidence-based therapy approaches like CBT, DBT, and MBCT, and I also incorporate culturally responsive care and spiritual counseling when it feels meaningful and appropriate. I take time to understand your story, your strengths, and what you hope to get out of treatment. I want our work together to feel like a partnership where you feel safe, supported, and never judged. Together, we can build practical tools and a plan that fits your needs and your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first sessions, you can expect a thorough but comfortable conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you in. I will ask about your current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical background, medications, and any life stressors that may be affecting your well-being. We will also talk about your goals and what you hope will feel different as we work together. You never have to share everything all at once, and I will meet you at your own pace. By the end, I will share my initial thoughts, talk through possible treatment options and next steps, and if it feels like the right fit, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
