Loretta Blevins

Hi, I’m Loretta Blevins, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling with a focus on Early Childhood Mental Health from San Diego State University. With 14 years of experience in the field, I specialize in supporting mothers as they navigate the challenges of pregnancy and beyond. I am deeply honored to work with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, especially Black and Brown communities, coping with the complexities of life’s harsh realities.

I lead with compassion and empathy, creating a collaborative space where we can engage in open conversation. Together, we will explore your current thoughts and feelings, with the goal of gaining deeper insight and understanding. I find great fulfillment in empowering individuals to heal, grow, and overcome the challenges they face.

As we work together, we will move at your pace, collaborating on the reasons you’ve come to therapy and what you hope to achieve during our time together. Explore old patterns, identify and challenge negative thoughts, and replace them with more realistic and balanced perspectives. You will develop a deeper sense of self and enhance your ability to live intentionally, ultimately leading to a fuller and more enjoyable life.
