Great to meet you!

I received my master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology, where my previous career in cancer research led me to a focus on health psychology and psychosocial oncology. In addition to addressing chronic health issues such as cancer, I specialize in life transitions and adjustment difficulties, identity issues, anxiety, depression, challenges related to aging, and the many forms of grief and loss.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe and collaborative space in which you can put words to your experience and explore who you are and how you meet life’s many challenges. My goal is to help you feel understood during the therapeutic process, which can, in turn, allow you to establish and nurture the cornerstones that make your life uniquely your own. My approach thus aims to help you identify what gives you meaning and purpose, no matter where you are in life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm and supportive environment where you will be accepted for who you are. My commitment to you is to help you gain new perspectives on how you think about things and how you relate to yourself and to others. I will both walk with you and gently challenge you to help us identify and work towards goals that will make meaningful change in your life.
