Great to meet you!

My goal is to assist you in achieving better mental health and quality of life. If you are experiencing difficulties and hope to gain relief and personal growth you will find that my approach is direct & supportive. My sessions typically include specific exercises & skill-building to foster emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wellness. I have experience in a variety of clinical settings including ministry, medical, crisis assessment & intervention, corrections & schools.

My approach to therapy

I practice Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) with an integration of various other modalities such as Christian Counsleing, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Relational Therapy. I also have a background in Christian counseling. My specialties include depression, anxiety, codependency, stress management, women's issues, chronic mental illness, divorce recovery, and trauma. At this time I do not work with couples, younger adolescents, or children.

What you can expect from me

Clients might expect to identify issues & set goals for counseling together. They will likely have some homework between sessions. What clients bring to the table is what is addressed, and we will develop a treatment plan together. Most clients experience the most satisfaction and progress when sessions are not longer than 10 days apart. My hope is that clients feel affirmed and congratulated for embarking on a journey of self care and personal growth.
