Grief, Loss

Great to meet you!

Welcome to my Practice!

For more than 30 years, I’ve had the profound privilege of walking alongside individuals and families through some of life’s most tender and complex chapters—serious illness, caregiving, aging, grief, and everything in between. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my work is anchored in compassion, dignity, and an unwavering respect for each person’s story.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Adelphi University and have pursued advanced training in palliative and end-of-life care, grief counseling, caregiver support, aging, trauma-informed care, and the role of spirituality in clinical practice. My approach is holistic and heart-centered—offering a safe, steady presence and a calm, supportive space to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered in whatever season you’re facing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Specialties

Palliative Care & Advanced Illness

I bring deep expertise in working with clients living with serious or chronic conditions—including cancer, heart failure, COPD, and neurological disorders. I help you and your loved ones make sense of what’s ahead, explore your options, and make decisions that align with your values. I will advocate fiercely for your needs and ensure your voice is always at the center of your care.

Caregiver Support

Being a caregiver is an act of love—but it can also be exhausting and overwhelming. I provide a space for you to exhale. Together, we’ll focus on your emotional well-being, build coping strategies, and make room for your needs without guilt. You deserve care too.

Grief & Bereavement

Grief has no timeline. Whether your loss is fresh or long-ago, I’m here to support you through the pain, confusion, and tenderness that can arise. My approach is gentle, affirming, and focused on helping you find meaning, healing, and peace—at your own pace, in your own way.

End-of-Life Transitions

Navigating the end of life—your own or that of someone you love—is never easy. I work closely with individuals and families to create space for honest communication, meaningful connection, and a sense of peace and dignity in even the most uncertain moments. You don’t have to face this alone.

I collaborate closely with clients, families, and healthcare teams to make sure your care reflects your priorities, beliefs, and hopes—no matter how complicated the circumstances may be.

What you can expect from our first session

My Approach

In our work together, you’ll find a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental space where all of you is welcome. I bring a trauma-informed, whole-person perspective to every session, tailoring evidence-based therapeutic practices to your individual needs.

My promise is to show up with professionalism, presence, and heart—to hold space for your pain, to celebrate your strength, and to stand by you with honesty, kindness, and care.

I would be honored to speak with you and explore how I can support you or someone you love.
