Great to meet you!
BA, Spanish, UCSB
Masters of Counseling, Idaho State University
EMDR trained, working towards certification
As a military dependent, I had the opportunity to live in a Spanish speaking country, and from there I developed a passion for the language and culture with travels to Central America and Spain via land and sailboat. I have worked with a variety of client populations including the Center for New Directions which worked with people in transition- some who may have never worked before, and others, seasoned employees who could not pursue their line of work for various reasons. I worked in a rehabilitation hospital where adjustments to physical injuries and disabilities was my focus. My work with an employee assistance program helped me to support and understand both employee and employer, so I can see both sides of a work related issue and help work towards solutions. Life happens alongside of demands of work, and learning how to manage the demands of both are key to my work. Life is full of changes, and I work to help you navigate and take advantage of those changes so that they work for you and add to wholeness and fulfillment in your life path.
