I have a master's in social work from University of Wisconsin Madison. I also am fully licensed in substance abuse treatment. I work with clients age 18 to 99+. I have worked in outpatient clinic settings helping the severely mentally ill and those with severe addiction problems.
Evidenced-based practice using a variety of treatment modalities, utilizing problem-solving and supportive therapy. I gently challenge clients to look at their developmental stages to gain insight into how this is continuing to impact them today.
I foster feelings of empowerment and self-efficacy, and my clients can feel they are heard and not judged. I am known for empathy and patience.
