Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Licensed Professional Counselor (English/Russian-speaking) providing teletherapy in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, overthinking, self-doubt, low self-esteem, stress, relationship challenges, and feeling stuck, even when things seem fine on the outside. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward. My approach is supportive, practical, and goal-oriented, focused on helping you better understand your patterns and build tools to feel more confident and in control.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, honest, and practical. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can actually talk openly about what’s going on without feeling judged, while also working toward meaningful change instead of feeling stuck in the same cycle week after week.

I help clients understand the deeper patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors, while also focusing on real-life coping strategies that can make day-to-day life feel more manageable. Sessions are conversational and down-to-earth, but still focused and intentional.

I tend to be direct in a warm way, and I’ll challenge clients when needed while still making sure they feel supported. I also use humor at times when appropriate because therapy doesn’t always have to feel overly clinical or heavy to be effective.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll start by getting a clear understanding of what’s bringing you in and what you’d like to work on. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, relevant background, and what you’ve already tried, so we can get a full picture of what’s going on.

From there, we’ll begin identifying patterns, setting initial goals, and discussing how we can approach the work in a way that feels manageable and effective for you.

You can expect a conversation that is open and supportive, but also structured and focused—we won’t just talk about what’s difficult, we’ll start thinking about how to move forward.
