Great to meet you!

I have been working with people for 40 years and look forward to helping clients create healthy relationships with me, themselves and with those in their lives. I enjoy working with individuals from all racial and cultural backgrounds who are motivated to make changes in their lives; to reduce painful reactions; and increase their understanding of what makes them feel happy, strong and self assured.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral methods, and Communication model. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I treat clients who have experienced trauma with the EMDR model. It is important that clients learn to validate their situation, and emotions to be able to look toward the next step in self-care.

What you can expect from our first session

I take a balanced emotional, spiritual, physical approach in treatment, encouraging clients to take a look at all aspects of this "golden triangle." I do not shy away from discussing client religious or cultural beliefs and activities; in fact this is an enriching part of treatment. My goal is for clients to be able to project their most authentic self in all environments.
