I am a Trauma Informed Somatic Psychotherapist and have worked in group practice for the last 7 years treating clients that were suffering in multiple areas of life. Often symptoms related to such areas as mood, emotional dysregulation, OCD, ADHD, anxiety and many other mental health areas of concern were rooted in nervous system "trauma"/stuckness.
I offer a multidimensional humanistic space and a collaborative approach. I integrate my graduate school education in both Anthropology and Mental Health Counseling with my creative sensibilities and training in Somatic Experiencing and Body Mind Centering to facilitate client's of all ages on their journeys. Awareness and compassionate tending to all parts of oneself while attending to and re-orienting accurately to one's present day environment is a central theme.
By working with trauma and somatic tools alongside talk therapy, understanding, compassion, resilience and new paths forward emerge. New and nuanced ways of responding to one's environment open up.
