Great to meet you!
I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and completed a two-year fellowship in Neuropsychology at the Children’s Development Center in Salt Lake City. I have been licensed as a psychologist since 2003.
My professional background has given me experience working with people facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. I spent 14 years in a post-acute brain injury rehabilitation center, where I provided individual, group, and family therapy and worked closely with individuals and families adjusting to the many changes that can follow a brain injury.
I later worked within the VA, primarily in an eating disorders program, while also treating individuals with a variety of concerns, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use, sexual trauma, and traumatic brain injury (TBI). These experiences have helped me develop a deep appreciation for the ways that psychological, physical, and life circumstances can intersect and affect overall well-being.
