Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over twenty years of experience dedicated to guiding my adult clients towards greater happiness and peace. My approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral techniques addressing your unique needs and strengths. I'm interested in body-mind approaches that help in creating positive change. My clients often are experiencing problems with anxiety, depression, or traumas. Some are adjusting to major life changes and losses. I offer Virtual sessions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is designed to promote empowerment and teach present-focused strategies. Through science we learned how to better manage annoying thoughts like when mind starts cranking out head talk. And strong emotions that might lead to knee-jerk reactions. Our systems were designed for survival in earlier times but life has changed. Good news is we can learn how to update our brain system with new approaches and tools resulting in positive change and growth.

What you can expect from our first session

It is my hope that clients take home strategy tools to practice between sessions so they can report back how well they worked. We can engineer any approach for more favorable results if needed, or learn a new approach. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. It's about finding new ways to approach challenges life that throws our way. I believe being open to possibilities and having tools to use as needed will prepare you for managing the future and finding more peace and happiness in the present.
