Hi, I'm Dr. Lorin Singh, a licensed psychologist providing telehealth therapy for adults throughout New York.
Over the past decade, I've worked in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, community mental health, leadership, and private practice. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
My goal is to create a space where you feel understood without judgment. Therapy doesn't have to feel overly clinical or intimidating. I believe in meeting people where they are, helping them better understand themselves, and building practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each person. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based interventions depending on your needs rather than using the same approach for everyone.
I believe symptoms often make sense when we understand the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that shaped them. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward lasting emotional growth—not just short-term symptom relief.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or simply ready for change, we'll work together to build a plan that fits your goals and your life.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll take time to understand what's bringing you to therapy, your history, your strengths, and what you hope will be different moving forward.
There's no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. My role is to ask thoughtful questions, help you organize what's been weighing on you, and start developing a plan that feels realistic and meaningful.
By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer understanding of how we'll work together and the goals we'll focus on throughout therapy.
