Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate mental health counselor with a professional background that bridges the fields of education and therapy. I began my career as a teacher working with at-risk teens. My journey then took a pivotal turn following the loss of my husband, which inspired me to fill the growing need for grief counselors and also deepen my passion for helping others navigate their own experiences of loss and hardship.

I have a Masters in counseling, and I enjoy working with adolescents and adults.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has the capacity to grow from challenges. My goal is to empower and motivate individuals to bring about positive change in their lives. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a key factor in the success of therapy, and I work to establish a trusting, safe environment for my clients to discuss their needs and tackle their challenges. I use an eclectic approach to meet the needs of each individual client, but I am specialty trained in ACT, EMDR, and Grief and Loss.

What you can expect from me

Feeling validated and knowing they have a safe, compassionate space to work through their challenges, as well as the belief in themselves to better manage their struggles in life.
