Great to meet you!

My name is Lori Taylor, I have been a registered nurse since 1998 and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner since 2021. My long career as a nurse, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, gives me a comfort level with both physical and mental health. My training and experience has focused on adaptation, and helping people to live to the best of their ability- regardless of what is going on.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy talking with and getting to know people, learning about their lives, where they have been, what they enjoy- not just what is wrong. I try to keep things as simple as possible and always work with and for people- ensuring they understand my thought process and are active participants in their own care.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be heard. First sessions are generally the longest but I try to never rush. Goals of care are agreed on and clients will know how to connect with me if needed between visits .
