Loryn Irwin is a Doctor of Social Work as well as a board-certified Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Dr. Loryn’s practice, Lift My Mood, LLC, provides solution-focused and evidence-based support for patients who struggle with anxiety and depression.


Loryn Irwin obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Boston College and her Doctor of Social Work degree from Simmons University.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Dr. Loryn uses different strength-based approaches to help youth, adults, and families identify their positive qualities, strengthen their relationships, and recognize their abilities and resources. Dr. Loryn uses techniques grounded in CBT, DBT, and Systems Theories with a deep knowledge of the connection between physical and mental well-being. Each intervention is based on the individual(s) participating in therapy and recognizes that they are the experts in their lives and situations.
