Great to meet you!

Life experiences can leave us carrying things we were never meant to carry alone. Trauma, grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the demands of military life can affect how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we move through the world. You may know that something needs to change but feel uncertain about where to begin. Counseling can provide a safe place to start.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and retired Army veteran, I have a particular understanding of the complexities of military life, including combat-related trauma, transition, loss, and the impact these experiences can have on individuals and their relationships. I work primarily with active-duty service members, veterans, individuals, and couples. I earned my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2020 and have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor for more than five years.

When we begin working together, my first priority is establishing a genuine connection and creating an environment where you feel emotionally safe, respected, and heard. I want to understand your story not simply your symptoms or diagnosis. Together, we may explore experiences from childhood through the present to better understand the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped where you are today.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a collaborative process. My role is to walk alongside you as you work through difficult experiences, gain greater understanding of yourself, and develop healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. You are not your diagnosis. Your experiences may have affected you deeply, but they do not have to determine who you become.

What you can expect from me

Healing does not always happen all at once. Sometimes it begins with one decision, made one day at a time. If you are ready to take that step, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
