Great to meet you!

Hello There!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in motherhood therapy. In my work, I feel deeply passionate about supporting women through their transition into motherhood, as it is a critical time of radical change, development and growth. I hope each of her clients feels deeply heard and seen and can walk away knowing their experience will be held with nurturing, warm care and that they are no longer alone on this epic journey. I have worked with mothers and new families for almost 2 decades in various roles and I am mother myself, which has given me a deep understanding how complex and tender this season of life really is. I like to use a combination of modalities to help each mother feel validated, held and comforted while also identify the root cause of your unique distress. I help mothers understand their rich, emotional landscape and bring awareness to the darker parts of her experience in order to relive her pain and suffering and bring in abudent joy, ease and empowerment within her mothering experience.

My approach to therapy

I use a wide lens when supporting mothers by recognizing both the personal struggles that mothers go through and social elements that impact the “hood”, in which they mother in. I have been trained in various modalities in meeting the unique needs of mothers including Emotion Focused Therapy and Matricentric Feminism.
