Great to meet you!

With an empathic and kind listening heart and academic credentials in clinical psychology and human development, I have been helping patients in schools and private practice for over 35 years. My specialties include school and job anxiety, learning challenges, autism spectrum issues, adjusting to new situations, depression and grief. I see people up through the mid to late 20s age range (ages 2-27, although it's okay to request outside this age frame). As a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts, I typically see clients who are children, teens, college students, and young adults.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a journey of self discovery, opening new possibilities for finding what you want and lifting burdens you may carry. Working together, we will create a safe space to discuss your concerns and help you feel free. My role is to help you better understand your experiences by listening empathetically, and then develop a treatment plan to help you move forward in a warm and caring environment.

At this time, my practice is entirely through telehealth, using Doxy.me to make secure and confidential video calls. I find this online format works well for therapy, and for developing mutual rapport and facilitating growth and development.

What you can expect from me

Your treatment plan will be tailored to your particular requirements, and will likely involve a combination of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and talk therapy. We will develop strategies and a goal of coping with and diminishing anxiety, guilt, and indecision. Focus on work, schoolwork, relationships, personal happiness and/or leisure improves.
