Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than eight years of experience in healthcare and a strong background in psychiatric services. I began my medical career in Cuba, where I earned my medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana “Calixto García.” After moving to the United States, I earned my nursing degree and later completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in family practice.

Throughout my career, I have worked in psychiatric care, women’s health, transitional care, pain management, and primary care. I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. I am committed to helping each client feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on the whole person—not just a diagnosis. I take time to understand each client’s symptoms, medical history, life experiences, daily stressors, and personal goals. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, education, and coordination with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

I believe that clients achieve better outcomes when they understand their treatment options and feel comfortable participating in decisions about their care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, I will create a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly about your concerns. We will review your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, stressors, and treatment goals.

By the end of the visit, my goal is for you to have a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms and the next steps in your care. We will work together to develop a personalized treatment plan and discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
