Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Lovisa and I am a clinical mental health counselor dedicated to creating a safe, supportive and collaborative space for individuals seeking growth, healing and clarity. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, a university known for its holistic approaches and person-centered care. I have 3 years working in community health supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and wide range of mental health needs.

My approach to therapy

My integrative approach to therapy combines relational talk therapy, mindfulness and learning coping strategies that promotes healing and lasting change. Together, we will explore self-understanding, connection and supporting resilience.

What you can expect from me

During our initial meeting, I will ask questions to get a sense of what brings you to therapy, what challenges you've been experiencing and what you hope to gain from our time together. We will talk about your background, your support system and any symptoms or patterns you've noticed. We will work together at your pace so you feel comfortable as we get to know one another.
