Great to meet you!

Since a young age, I have aspired to be a support to others. This led me to the path of becoming a psychologist. I earned my PsyD in clinical psychology in 2016. Prior to that, I earned an MA/EdS in Counseling. I have worked in college counseling centers and community mental health centers providing therapy and assessment to clients seeking support for a variety of mental health issues. I am eager to continue working with clients and empowering them to live more fulfilling and worthwhile lives.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach, which includes Interpersonal/psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, and EMDR. Through this approach combined with building a strong therapeutic relationship, I will provide my clients with the space to begin to accept and be kindly curious about themselves, their relationships, and their experiences. My therapy style is emotion-focused and insight-oriented with the goal of helping clients better understand, accept, and manage their complex emotional experiences.

What you can expect from our first session

Collaboratively, I will guide my clients toward developing inner resiliency, learning specific strategies to cope with emotional pain and life’s stressors, and working on making changes to live a more fulfilling life. I strive to create a safe environment through providing empathic and nonjudgmental listening and encouragement, so that clients feel comfortable to explore whatever feelings, thoughts, or challenges they are experiencing.
