Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Lucas, and I'm really glad you're here. The searching can get annoying, trust me, I know.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8 years of experience in addiction and mental health, including directing an Intensive Outpatient Program. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's in Social Work in 2023. I'm not the "perfect expert" type. I'd rather be the person in your corner who shows up fully, celebrates your progress, and says the hard things when they need to be said. I'm warm and genuine; I bring real energy to every session, yes, even through a screen, and I practice what I teach because mental health is something we all work at.

Expect me to be direct, and don't be surprised if I send you home with "homework." Growth happens in the everyday moments, not just the hour we spend together.

My job is simple: help you reconnect with your strengths, build real confidence, and move toward the life you actually want.

You're worth that work. Let's get started.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real connection. I show up as my authentic self and work hard to earn your trust. I bring steady, supportive energy into every session so we can build a strong foundation and move through the work as a team.

Clients often tell me they can feel my enthusiasm right away. I bring a noticeable, engaged energy into sessions, and I work intentionally to tear through the “virtual barrier” that sometimes comes with teletherapy. My goal is for our time together to feel real, connected, and meaningful, even through a screen.

I use a strengths-based and solution-focused style, pulling from CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed practices. I focus on practical tools, achievable skills, and habits that truly make a difference in daily life. My role is to help you understand yourself better, build emotional resilience, and make changes that last, while feeling supported, understood, and motivated along the way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where you can talk openly without pressure. You don’t need to have everything figured out — most people don’t. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand what’s been going on for you and what you hope to work toward.

I’ll also normalize what you’re experiencing. Seeking support is a healthy and human thing to do, and there’s no “right way” to start therapy. You can show up exactly as you are.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and what working together can look like, so we can move forward in a way that feels safe, supportive, and manageable for you.
