Great to meet you!

Life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows; it can be filled with challenges, difficulties, and hardships. I believe that life is all about perspective and the way we react to problems. Our trials and tribulations are opportunities for us to grow into stronger and wiser individuals. When challenges arise, most people ask, "Why?" I encourage my clients to change their mentality by asking, "How?"—how can I use this to grow and learn, make myself smarter and wiser?" I am a firm believer in empowering clients with the tools and knowledge needed to live a more fulfilling and productive life. With 9 years of sobriety and personal experience battling my own challenges, I know how helpful therapy can be in helping a person rebuild their life and become the person they want to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is tailored to the unique needs of each client. I take a holistic perspective and integrate a variety of traditional psychotherapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others.

I emphasize a client-centered approach that empowers individuals to become more confident, self-aware, and positive. Drawing on my intuition, education, and personal experiences, I offer genuine and insightful feedback that supports personal growth. I believe the ultimate goal of therapy is not simply to “be happy” or avoid difficult emotions, but to develop the tools and coping skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and balance.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we’ll begin with brief introductions and a conversation about what brings you to therapy. From there, we’ll explore the specific challenges you’re facing so I can develop a personalized plan tailored to your goals. Each follow-up session will build on this foundation as we work collaboratively toward growth, healing, and lasting change.
