Great to meet you!

I’m Lucelly Mosquera, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Light Mind Psychiatry. I earned my graduate degree at the University of South Carolina and bring 10 years of nursing experience in mental health and medical care. I work with children ages 6 and older, teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and psychotic disorders. As a queer provider who speaks English and Spanish, I especially value helping people feel understood across different identities, cultures, and life experiences.

My approach to therapy

I want treatment to feel like something we build together, with room for your questions, preferences, and honest feedback. I look beyond symptoms to understand how your health, sleep, daily routines, and experiences affect how you feel. We’ll talk through your options, including medication when helpful, in clear language. For children and teens, I involve caregivers while making space for each young person’s voice and growing independence.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to have everything figured out before our first visit. We’ll talk about what brings you in, your health history, any past treatment, and what you hope will change. There will be time to ask questions and share what feels most important to you. Before we finish, we’ll review what we’ve learned and decide on next steps together.
