Lucia Belmore

Hello! I'm Lucia! As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts, I am committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and evidence-informed care.

As a practicing Catholic, my faith is an important part of who I am. For clients who desire it, I am comfortable integrating faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process. At the same time, I respect each client's right to make decisions according to their own values and goals.

My role is not to impose my personal beliefs, but to provide a supportive environment where clients can thoughtfully explore difficult decisions, strengthen insight, and pursue their own path with clarity and integrity.

I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and strive to foster a therapeutic relationship built on empathy, honesty, and mutual respect. :)

My approach to therapy would be considered eclectic while treating every client with dignity, regardless of their background, beliefs, identity, or life circumstance.

Some modalities that I would use, but not limited to are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Person-Centered Therapy.

I have a background in working with children (3+), adolescents, and families.

In the first session, my main goal is to create a warm, welcoming space that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and asking questions about therapy especially if this is your first time!

We will begin with an introductory session where you can share your reasons for starting therapy and what you hope to achieve. I will start by asking about your background so we can explore other potential goals you would like to work on. I love working with my clients on creating goals and making a plan on how we can reach your goals! :)
