I seek to work with clients who are looking to grow and heal. I work best with people who are willing to look at their pain and grow. I believe in resilience of the human spirit but we have to uncover some of our layers to become our true selves.
I use a Positive Psychology approach to therapy focusing on strengths and goal setting. I facilitate healing by empowering clients to find different ways of looking at their pain and utilizing positive exercises to find healing. I provide a safe space for clients to focus on their issues.
I utilize a myriad of techniques in my practice like CBT, ACT, mindfulness but primarily I am strength focused and person centered. I do believe in homework assignments between sessions whether it be journaling, using particular exercises or worksheets.
