Great to meet you!

Hello:

My Name is Luis Pina I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to providing a supportive, confidential, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My clinical experience includes working with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship and family challenges, stress, trauma-related concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I use an individualized, strengths-based approach and incorporate evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and coping-skills development.

As a bilingual therapist offering services in English and Spanish, I value each client’s culture, experiences, strengths, and personal goals. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we work not only to manage current symptoms but also to better understand patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen emotional resilience, and create changes that can be maintained beyond therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on your individual needs. I use evidence-based techniques, including CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, to help you understand your thoughts and emotions, manage stress, and develop healthier coping skills. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. We work together at your pace, focusing on practical changes you can apply to everyday life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and how they are affecting your daily life. We will identify the main areas you want to work on and set clear, realistic goals together. My goal is to create a comfortable and judgment-free environment where you can speak openly, feel supported, and begin learning practical strategies you can use in your everyday life.
