Great to meet you!

When your emotions feel overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to turn or what to do next. I work with adults in Austin who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, major life transitions, relationship struggles, and serious mental health concerns. Together, we'll slow things down, make sense of what you're going through, and build practical tools so you can feel more grounded, hopeful, and in control of your life again.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Baylor University. My background includes emergency psychiatric care, crisis response, court-related services, and outpatient therapy. I bring a calm, nonjudgmental, and steady presence to sessions so you don't have to face hard things alone.

You don't have to wait for things to get worse before you get support. If you're ready to take the next step toward feeling more stable and understood, I'd be honored to work with you. Please reach out or request an appointment so we can see if we're a good fit and start mapping out your next steps.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood and supported, so we’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based therapy to help you understand what you’re going through, build practical coping tools, and create meaningful, lasting change in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to help you feel safe, comfortable, and not judged. We’ll start by talking about what’s bringing you in right now, a bit about your history, and what you’d like to be different in your life. You can share as much or as little as you’re ready for, and I’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you.

I believe therapy should feel authentic and human, not like an interrogation. I’ll ask some guiding questions, reflect what I’m hearing, and together we’ll begin to name your goals and possible next steps so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and what our work together can look like.
