Great to meet you!

Hello, My name is Lula Thomas, and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has been helping people for ten years as a mental health provider.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in a team approach, where we will work together to establish the most effective treatment goals unique to your needs. Every visit is not only an evaluation of your progress but an opportunity to communicate, receive reassurance and/or make decisions. My primary focus is on prescribing medications, but I always recommend psychotherapy to address the source of mental health symptoms and additional coping.

What you can expect from our first session

On your first visit, we will review your medical history, medication history, symptoms, and previous mental health treatments to make the most of our visit. My goal is to provide resources as you undertake your mental health journey. Every interaction is focused on positive motivational communication, informed care, and working together to achieve personal goals. I have a specialty for “people and advocacy” and look forward to assisting others on the journey to improved mental well-being.
